In honor of Suttons Bay's 150th Birthday, An Animated Timeline dvd, produced by Ken Scott and Chris Allen-Wickler in collaboration with local 'kids' young and old, is now complete and ready for orders!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Suttons Bay Art Festival, Ken and Chris were able to offer free workshops during the past year in downtown studio spaces arranged through the Sesquicentennial Committee and donated by Gary Thornton. Highlights of Suttons Bay history were created using a variety of animation techniques including copies of authentic photographs from the latest Sesquicentennial book, "A Look Back". Watch the photographs come to life through the magic of animation to recreate a fun and informative 28 minute movie that shares some of the stories of our town in imaginative ways. The dvd additionally includes a behind the scenes look at the process to inspire curious new animators.
